Fighting Alchemist Guide
First off, this alchemist guide not for people that want to be healers. This turns you into more support/hitting class.
Intro:
My build was angry mistake take turned out very well. You will be able to amaze others by being to out damage them as a scholar. This is because you will be trading in your ability to be the healer of a group. Yes you do still have the 860 healing ability but, your lack of hp to use it to often. Unlike the other scholar classes, (or alchemist builds) you can't hold the aggression, of the monsters, to long to keep healing your party. Your main job in the parties is to kill and revive.
Pros/Cons:
Pro
Insane damage (you be the hardest hitting person in your party most the time)
Can heal
Magic buffs
Great 1 vs 1 pvp
Con
Highest upkeep (you cry every time you buy potions/food)
Low Hp/def
Lots of SP needed
Can't be groups main/only healer
Stats:
3 wisdom and 2 stamina or
5 wisdom, 4 stamina and 1 luck (keep the 2 stamina each level for min hp needed to live)
Skills:
Healing
Revival Magic (must)
First Aid Magic (must, it your main healing ability)
Group Therapy (Very useful at lower levels, but at higher you don't seem to use much)
Recovering Magic (Not must but you will use in long battles)
Buffs
Magic Shield (must, mdef+)
Magic Shock (Great buff for when you need extra accuracy and extra matk when parting mages)
Death Aria (Everyone loves the crit+ so you will use when not in party with poets[they have the spell too so make them cats it])
Attacks
God Arrow (Your main attack, no alchemist can live without this)
Heart Shock (must, for long battles you being using this)
Passives: (Get passives last and only if you have extra sp after getting all other skills max that I listed above)
Occultism (extra matk)
Defense Magic (extra physical def)
Magic Protection (extra magic def)
Magic Headspring (extra mp [get this very last not that useful])
Gear:
Cloth armor (crafted and dream both work) and Soft weapons (extra matk)
Pets:
Control (Best pet you can get for attacking alchemists. Adds to masters matk and will bring down opponents mdef. Uses matk so your buffs work)
Magic (Good pet since buffs work with it)
Assist (Good since it can heal you, add to your matk and speed)
Soldier (Takes away hate from master but that it. Don't advise you get)
Agile (Don't get since nothing works well with alchemists)
Fighting Tactics:
This really simple. Use god arrow..... that about it. When soloing use heal when necessary but than that just keep attacking. For partying follow this thought process: revive first, heal people about dead second, buff third (only when a must in the fight or a boss battle), and if none of those apply just keep attacking (God arrow [and heart shock in boss battle for hp decrease{only use shock when the hp decrease time runs out}]). 80% of time, all you will be doing is using god arrow.
Hope this helps people thinking about becoming an alchemist. If I forgot something, just post reply on what and I'll make the changes.
