Ok so we all have encountered once or twice a monster that has purple name and can be captured right away. Pretty hard though...well on my way to leave ts2 I found a purple roach. This roach has 8Str and all stats are superior to my old roach (lv18) My new roach is only Lv1. And my new "rare" pet has all magic/skill stone slots locked (I dont know if these unlock over time or if it is a dice roll once the pet is captured as to how many slots it has open).



So whats your opinion?Should I lvl the new purple "rare" roach or keep my old lv18 pet

The purple pets' attribute is better than ordinary pets. have you noticed the your new pet's strength, wisdom and so on?  You shoud  lv your new pet.

Yes I have :] But I saw that it has all 5 skill stone slots locked...while my old pet has atleast one unlocked O.O Would it make a diffrence???

The skill stone slots would be unlocked after your pet have reached a certain level.

Eh, it's not that rare. I've encountered that Purple Roach over 20 times already. They die in one hit...

Lol every purple pet has better stats so it is rare...and they die on one hit because you are higher lvl then the roach? Well he is strong and is lv 20 now

Purple monsters are promising youths (that's why they're level 1 and have great stats) that you can try to capture without lowering their life (because you'd kill them in one hit.
First skill slot for pets is available at level 6 (and no not 5 o_O).

Level your new pet and say goodby to your old one
As you can see he has more strenght and stamina so in the end he'll do more damage and will have more hp
He also have a higher growth (rate) meaning that...well he'll either gain xp or training point quicker ? (this point should be clearly explained in game)

Yep I lvld him he is 21 now and is very strong =D But idk about purple pets starting at Lv1. Because my roach started at Lv1 BUT I captured a purple chicken yesterday and it started at Lv11 O.O
