Double Exp Every Weekend

Elf Onlinw Double Exp Event was welcomed by players since it's launched in open beta. In order to make more players to enjoy this great event, Elf Online will make a amendament on the event time. The new double Exp weekend will start at Est 13:00 pm Saturday to Est 13:00 pm Sunday. I am sure this new event time will enable more players from different time zone to participate.
Thank you, wish you enjoy the game.

13:00 am?  This doesn't make sense.  Either use military time (0:00 - 23:59) or standard time (12:00 am / 12:00 pm). Anyways, you probably meant 12:00 am.. press 3 instead of 2.

This doesn't help if you don't provide more info "screenshots".  It could be just on certain map/area that you don't get 2x Exp since after all it's open beta and bugs roam the game.  Also I'm not sure whether or not this game has level cap for player's experience but I know pet has it.  I took my low lvl 20s pet to fight lvl 30+ monster and it get less experience per battle than fighting close to it level.  So, anyways, list map/area and what monster you battle with and experience you get during 2x Experience event and hopefully they can fix it.  BTW, I do get 2x Experience so it could be just an isolation issue for you and few others.

Actually if you read the manual inside the game (scroll your mouse to the pc icon, bottom right, and click the book) you can find that experience gained is dependent on the monster level and the level of yourself and your pet. We gain the most from monsters that are white, our level. Anything lower or higher we get deducted.

I am not sure if this is correct, as many users have seen when leveling at higher monsters, there is an increase rather than a deduction.

Also, double experience for anyone is dependent on the time zone you are living in. Pacific Coast (-8 gmt) is three hours behind, so double experience is around 9 am.

I'm not sure either whether killing high level monster deduct experience as they give more experience than the monster at your level.  If it does deduct then it is minor compare to the experience set for high level monster that you still get more experience.

Let say:

low monster = 100 exp (-5% exp) = 95 exp

normal monster = 500 exp (-0% exp) = 500 exp <== your character level

high monster = 1000 exp (-5% exp) = 950 exp

.. then high monster give more experience even with the deduction.  This is just example.. I don't know what the formula is for the deduction or monster experience rate set at.

It is true that higher lvl monsters give better exp but if you fight monsters that are far exceeding your lvl (15+) you will not recieve much exp, to as little as 1 exp. This is likely intentional to prevent players from powerleveling through the game with high lvl friends.
