You're suppose to be looking for bugs during closed beta. You also get to play the game before everyone else since not everyone is selected to test during closed beta.

The point is (1) To report bugs so that by the end of open beta almost all of them will be gone and (2) To explore the game and extract people before it even releases.

All games have a closed/open beta phase, so there shouldn't be any complaining about this
