+9 Rare level 45 weapon breaks

my +9 Rare 45 weapon breaks after i try to +10 it
why would this be ingame pay cash for item and it makes weapon break how dumb
the description says may have chance of damage not dissapear and i have tested this it is first time it
has happened fail it lose the + not dissapear :@

it is not a bug~
it say will damage, so, contain broken.
If you have successed your weapon will be stronger, so it has both sides
